Career Pathfinder

Career Pathfinder In-depth is a self-completion questionnaire designed to aid career decision-making. In-depth can be used to meet either personal or organisational needs. It can be used by anyone who wants a clearer picture of the possible career directions, which suit their personality, their preferred organisational culture and the competencies they have to offer.

Competency

SHL has developed and delivered to you simple competency selection and interview guides. These handy tools allow you to introduce the idea of objective competencies throughout organisations and receive objective feedback on competencies from non trained users such as Line managers thus deploying a universal language across your client organisation.

The competency selectors also allow you to add value to your clients HR function in the form of a handy competency based interview, allowing your clients to ensure objective interviewing at the line management level and exploring the relevant competencies compared to the OPQ/MQ assessment report

The SHL Universal Competency Framework establishes a common language for competencies that underpins SHL’s products and services. The SHL Occupational Personality Questionnaire (OPQ) is the most widely used measure of behavioural style in the world. The OPQ is designed to provide businesses with information on the aspects of an individual’s behavioural style that will impact on their performance at work.

The OPQ32 is the latest and most comprehensive version of the OPQ. It provides detailed information on 32 specific personality characteristics which underpin performance on key job competencies critical for graduates, managers and experienced hires.

SHL Ondemand

SHL Ondemand is an online system which can administer, score and interpret results from a range of SHL tests and questionnaires. Questions are displayed on-screen and responses are automatically scored by the system, which can then produce profiles and reports on candidates just as a human expert would, but in a fraction of the time.

The range of instruments and reports available continues to expand, as does the language availability. Currently the following products are available through a selection of modules:

Module A (Verify) includes: Numerical, Verbal, Inductive Reasoning, Checking and Calculation tests
Module B (Personality) includes OPQ32, Customer Contact Styles Questionnaire, Motivation Questionnaire
