Learning styles will blend tutor presentations with focused discussions, DVD and group work, practical exercises, role-playing, use of actors, business simulations and games. Our aim will be to make learning as interesting and effective as possible for the whole range of participants. Each module will conclude with the preparation of personal and team action plans for self-improvement, and a feedback session in which participants have the opportunity to discuss their responses to the workshop and indicate how their learning outcomes will be translated into action within their work responsibilities. We will advise managers on the most effective means of following up action plans with personnel in each discipline.
The materials that OSR use when delivering a training programme include:
A learner pack for each participant, with a fully annotated manual covering all elements of the module and explaining the purpose and content of the training programme. All training products and services will be presented in a style that is crisp, accessible and user-friendly, and wherever possible in an interactive format. The material will also contain a strong element of reflective practice.
We attach a high degree of importance to liaison, consultation and efficient communications with our clients and feedback received from participants in the training programme to facilitate this we have mechanisms in place for ensuring that the training we provide is alert and responsive to our clients preferences and to the views and reactions of the participants being trained.
